The Shun Classic Santoku Knife cuts like a dream! It balances perfectly in your hand and its super-sharp blade slices cheese, meats, vegetables and fish as easy as slicing through water. It has the look and benefits of Damascus steel, yet without its rusting problems.

It is extremely sharp. Manufactured with 16 layers of SUS410 high-carbon stainless steel on each side of a VG-10 "Super steel" blade, produces a 33 layered finely honed knife. The handle is made from ebony-black PakkaWoodŽ. The "D" shape offers maximum comfort and control.
